Jämtland is a wonderful piece of Sweden and is a region with magnificent scenery, history and traditions.
Many people visit Jämtland to experience an adventure in the wilderness: walking, cycling, fishing, paddling canoes, riding or a quad bike safari.

The flora is rich, with many different types of orchids. Wild animals here include bear, lynx, wolf, beaver and, naturally, Jämtland's own provincial symbol and the king of the forest - the elk.

Jämtland has some of Sweden's best fishing waters. Just in Bräcke municipality we have around 500 lakes, rivers and watercourses with fresh, clean water.

Camp Viking Resort is a family-friendly tourist centre that is open all year round. We have a beautiful location on the shore of Lake Revsundssjön, with the wilderness practically under the eaves. Despite this, there are plenty of services nearby: petrol - groceries - supermarket - bank.

We have our own cosy, fully-licensed Valhall Restaurant. The restaurant has a rustic, Viking-inspired style. In the summer you can eat al-fresco and enjoy good food and drink. You can relax in the peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful view, while the children can go to the beach and paddle in our wonderfully shallow bay. In the winter there are horse and sleigh trips on the lake - you will be collected from the restaurant and can ride by torchlight, to the sound of jingling bells. Then you can go back to the restaurant, eat some tasty food and perhaps have a warming drink.
